As you know, the country has made tremendous progress in field of Leprosy during the last one decade. There are less than 0.1 Million recorded cases presently under treatment. The only way to reduce the number of cases now, is by detecting the hidden multibacillary cases and treating them early before they can spread the infection. Because of the stigma associated with the disease, inspite of all efforts, some people may try to hide their disease. This is unfortunate. We want help of all, to spread the message that leprosy is curable and without any deformity if diagnosed and treated early. Please help us and the suffering humanity. |
